MINISTRY CENTER PROJECT

It is a blessing to have a great, historic heritage in the form of more than two hundred years of
history in North Conway, and in our buildings. Our church building was constructed in 1838; our
parsonage in 1847, and we have an auxiliary building on Main Street, next door to the church,
which we have named our "Ministry Center." It was leased out and used as an artist's studio, a gift
shop and a leather worker's shop for several years until 1995 when the congregation voted to use
it solely for ministry purposes. Some minor repairs were carried out in 1997 and it has been used
for Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, Community Bible Studies, Day Camps, and our
Bicentennial Museum since then.
In 2001, the church voted to renovate the Ministry Center building, converting it into a secretary's
office, conference & meeting room, Pastor's study downstairs, and multi-purpose (teen) activity
room upstairs. The plans also call for two restrooms, one on each floor.
In 2006 we recommitted ourselves to pursuing this goal.
Recent estimates for the funds needed to purchase the materials for this renovation project are
$45,000.00. This does not include labor which we are trusting The Lord to provide.
We believe that we can increase our effectiveness as a local church serving The Lord Jesus Christ,
and our impact on the North Conway community, as a testimony for God, through this
renovation.
While we are a small church, we are serving a mighty God! We believe that God can raise the
needed funds and raise up workers to complete this project.
Will you pray with us? Will you give towards this project?
It is important that giving toward this goal not draw away money from our general giving
towards budgeted church needs, since ongoing ministries and financial obligations need to be
steadily funded.
We ask for your prayers, and if The Lord lays it on your heart to give, please make sure to note
"Ministry Center Project" on your check or envelope and mail to:

A receipt will be mailed to you for tax purposes.

We look forward to what The Lord will do through His people.

PRAISE THE LORD!
He has supplied funds, labor and materials to begin the project!
Through the generosity of an individual and the congregation of Riverside Drive
Baptist Church
the funds have been suppplied to begin the renovation. A
Christian brother, Doug Jette, has graciously agreed to be the overseeing
contractor for the project, and much work has already been done.
We gratefully acknowledge his labor for the Lord, and thank those who have
helped him with this work.
We thank Chick Home Center, ModernView Windows and Reeb Millwork for
supplying the building materials, vinyl siding, windows and doors that have been
installed, at a greatly reduced cost. We also thank Ned Bryant of Bryant Electric
for his work thus far.
God has moved in a marvelous way!!!
